The latest update 1.1.1 has dropped in Diablo 4 very recently and a bunch of patches have happened to our favorite farming methods when it comes to XP, loot, etc. Today, we got you covered with our D4 1.1.1 best unique, legendary, XP, and loot farms.
Diablo 4 1.1.1 Unique, Legendary, XP & Loot Farming Guide
In Diablo 4, farming for XP (experience points), legendary items, unique items, and other loot is essential for character progression and enhancing gameplay. Here's why:
XP: Experience points are crucial for leveling up your character. As you gain levels, you unlock new skills, abilities, and stat points, making your character more powerful and versatile.
Legendary Items: Legendary items are the most powerful and rare equipment in Diablo. They often have unique properties, bonuses, and special effects that can significantly enhance your character's abilities. Farming for legendary items allows you to optimize your gear and increase your overall effectiveness in combat.
Unique Items: Similar to legendary items, unique items in Diablo 4 also possess special properties and bonuses that can enhance your character's performance. They may have specific attributes or synergies with certain skills or playstyles, providing unique gameplay opportunities.
Loot: Diablo 4 is known for its loot-driven gameplay, where finding and collecting various items is a core aspect. Loot can include gold, gems, runes, crafting materials, and other valuable resources. These D4 items can be used to improve your gear, trade with other players, or craft powerful equipment.
By farming XP, legendary items, unique items, and loot, you can continually improve your character's power and capabilities, making it easier to tackle challenging content, defeat difficult enemies, and progress further in the game. Next, we break down the best dungeons, glitches, and events to farm unique, legendary, loot, and XP in Diablo 4 patch 1.1.1.
Diablo 4 1.1.1 Best Unique Farm
Blizzard buffed the unique drop rates in patch 1.1.1. Now, we want to explain how to most efficiently farm these uniques. Uniques are dropping crazy right now due to two big changes. The first one is that bosses that are level 35 or higher now have a 100% chance to drop a legendary item. Before if you completed a nightmare dungeon, you were guaranteed one legendary item from completing the dungeon. Now you're guaranteed two legendaries so they're doubling the amount of legendaries that you're going to be getting every time you do a nightmare dungeon.
The other big change is coming from a change that they made a while ago in the seasons and that was that nightmare dungeons now have a 50% chance to drop a second legendary item upon completion. Before you were getting 1 guaranteed legendary with a chance to get a second. Now you're getting 2 guaranteed legendaries with a chance to get a third and that's not even taking into account all the legendaries that can drop in the nightmare dungeons. They doubled our chances of getting uniques and the reason for this is because uniques are dropped when legendaries drop.
Every time that the game rolls that you're getting a legendary it has a 1% chance for it to be unique. So the more legendary drops that you're guaranteeing yourself, the more chance that you're giving yourself to get a unique. What this means is you're going to want to do the shortest fastest dungeon possible to give yourself the best chance at uniqueness. This is still a chance but you can improve your chances by running more nightmare dungeons per hour.
D4 1.1.1 Best Legendary Farm
The fastest dungeon is Hoarfrost Demise. Depending on your build, it could vary. YouTuber Moxsy has done Hoarfrost Demise in 2 minutes or less and guaranteed himself 2 legendaries every 2 minutes. What this means is 120 legendary drops an hour, 1.2 uniques every hour, or a solid chance at getting a unique every hour.
Wayward Soul is an event that has an infinite spawn of enemies. You can get yourself a ton of XP and a ton of legendaries if you are lucky now. Make sure that it is exactly this event, it cannot be any other event. Once you find this event randomly appear on the map and this can appear anywhere on the map. Your objective in the event requires you to actually stay in a circle, protect the soul, and kill enemies. But there is actually an exploit that allows you to turn this event into an infinite spawn of enemies.
All you have to do is just simply let the timer run out and not step in a circle. Then just simply run around the circle until the timer goes to zero. Once the time hits zero, then you can kill the enemies that are still running around and following you. Once you've killed them and no more enemies spawning around, you're going to go ahead and step inside of the circle and then quickly step out. This is how you activate the spawn of enemies without having it to engage with the event. You might get a chance of legendary items dropping!
One thing that can go wrong with this is if another player comes to you and steps in the circle and completes the event. If that happens, you could either leave the low beach on a new session and try to find this event again. This D4 1.1.1 glitch is just broken so definitely keep taking advantage of it.
D4 1.1.1 Best Loot Farm
Another really awesome Diablo 4 1.1.1 legendary glitch that we recommend you take advantage of that is going to be a Helltide event. Do world tier 3 because it allows you to actually come across easier enemies. Once you've collected a good amount of the Helltide crystals from killing the enemies, you can go ahead and then find a chest on the map. Then go up to it, stand next to it, and then just leave the game to the main menu. From there, you can switch the difficulty to well tier 4 and then reload your character. You're going to spawn outside of the chest but you're going to notice that you still have your crystals from world tier 3 on world tier 4. This allows you to open up a chest and get yourself a better loot.
Diablo 4 1.1.1 Best XP Farm
Mercy's Reach: The best way to farm XP after Diablo IV patch 1.1.1, go to Mercy's Reach nightmare dungeon. It has 13.5 million XP per hour. You're going to deconstruct all the loot, sell it and gain Diablo 4 gold. It’s really nice at the early stages for solo players.
Sarat’s Lair: It’s still one of the best D4 XP farms after patch 1.1.1. 15-17 million XP per hour. Easy Money.
Uldur’s Cave: In team play, you have to glitch out dungeons, you have to copy the keys. For that one, Uldur’s Cave is still the king. This will provide you with a ton of XP, the Diablo 4 best XP farm 1.1.1. Still, it's only 20 million XP as a solo player.
