Everybody is going to have a different setting when it comes to pro stick function. A lot of people when they are dribbling, they like to have their pro stick function on dribble moves only. If you have this right here set on dribble moves, you will no longer be able to shoot with this stick and you will not be able to dunk or step back and shoot with the stick. If you still want to do that make sure you have this set to default. But if you're somebody that flicks the stick a little too much and pump fakes a lot, then you want to change your pro stick function to dribble moves. For your pro stick orientation, you want to have this on absolute and none of this other stuff matters.

NBA 2K24 Best Dribble Moves

Crossover: The crossover is a classic dribble move that involves quickly bringing the ball from one hand to the other. It can be used to create space between you and the defender so that you can drive to the basket or shoot a jumper.

  • Start with the ball in your right hand.

  • Quickly bring the ball to your left hip, using your right hand to push the ball behind your left leg.

  • Bring the ball back to your right hand, using your left hand to pull the ball back in front of your right leg.

  • Step through with your left foot as you bring the ball back to your right hand.

Behind-the-back: The behind-the-back is a more advanced dribble move that involves bringing the ball behind your back and then to the other hand. It can be used to create even more space between you and the defender than a crossover.

  • Start with the ball in your right hand.

  • Bring the ball behind your back, using your right hand to push the ball behind your left shoulder.

  • Bring the ball around to your left hand, using your left hand to pull the ball in front of your right shoulder.

  • Step through with your right foot as you bring the ball back to your left hand.

Hesitation: The hesitation is a simple but effective dribble move that involves slowing down your dribble and then suddenly accelerating. It can be used to catch the defender off guard and get past them.

  • Start dribbling the ball with your right hand.

  • Take a quick step with your left foot, as if you are going to drive to the basket.

  • Hesitate by stopping your dribble and bringing the ball to your chest.

  • As soon as the defender hesitates, explode forward and drive to the basket or shoot a jumper.

Spin move: The spin move is a more advanced dribble move that involves spinning around the defender with the ball. It can be used to create space between you and the defender so that you can drive to the basket or shoot a jumper.

  • Start dribbling the ball with your right hand.

  • Take a step with your left foot and then pivot your body to the right.

  • As you pivot, bring the ball behind your back and then to your left hand.

  • As soon as you have the ball in your left hand, explode forward and drive to the basket or shoot a jumper.
