Today we will show you the best Last Epoch class tier list in 2024. This game in general has a bunch of fun and overpowered classes and masteries to play and we have a very unique variety to choose from, but the big question is which classes and sub classes will give you the highest damage and much more.

Last Epoch Class Tier List: Most Op Classes & Masteries in Last Epoch

This game in general has bunch of fun and best classes and masteries to play and we have a very unique variety to choose from. But the big question is which classes are good for you? As Last Epoch has 5 main classes with 3 sub classes in each one, we would recommend for you to look at the main 5 classes as more of a main category and the actual sub classes as the actual class. So if we put the Necromancer at the S tier and you want to play it, then what we need to do is look at the wheel and the Necromancer sub class is under the Acolyte main class, so then when you make your character, you select the Acolyte as your main class and the Necromancer as the Mastery slash sub class.

  • Sentinel

The Sentinel has 3 main Mastery sub classes available called the Void Knight, Forge Guard, and the Paladin.

Void Knight - B Tier

Void Knight gets to be placed right in the B tier. The first Void Knight mastery specializes in void damage and it happens to be the only mastery with a void support. Void Knight has no for leech and then a void based element called the time route and damaging increases for not wearing a shield. However, the most interesting feature of this mastery is the ability to create echoes. Echoes create a copy of one of your skills, a short period after using that specific skill while this Mastery is largely themed around melee, it also can support throwing skills. And the Sentinel sub class has one of the most powerful builds based around void spells.

Paladin - A Tier

Then the next sub class is the Paladin which we will put right in the A tier. This mastery is themed around fire damage in including the element ignite and healing, as well as block, armor, health and even some bleed and lightning damage. This mastery bonuses provide increase to fire lightning, physical damage and healing effects. Paladin also has the unique mechanic of being able to scale the adaptive spell damage, while wearing a shield allowing for a tanky spellcaster play style.

Forgeguard - B Tier

Then the forge guard gets to be placed in the B tier as well. This mastery is themed around physical damage which includes the ailment bleed. Forgeguard provides support for both two-handed and swords and board play styles. This Mastery bonuses are devoted to the defense through armor and resistance.

  • Mage

Then for the second class category, we have the Mage. The Mage has 3 subclasses which are called the Sorcerer, Spellblade and the Runmaster.

Sorcerer - A Tier

The sorcerer gets to be placed right in the A tier. The first Sorcerer Mastery is your typical spell caster which specializes in range spells and big Elemental AOE damage, esteemed around fire, lightning and cold damage. The Sorcerer still has support for the ward. The Mastery bonuses provide additional mana and spell damage.

Spellblade - C Tier

The next one is the Spellblade which we will put in the C tier. This mastery is your typical melee building spellcaster, he has bunch of melee skills, synergistically bleeding the two play styles together into a very satisfying combination, like the Sorcerer, the Spellblades are teed around fire, lightning and cold damage. They have superior board generation support than the Sorcerer which is necessary due to their tendency to be in a melee range. Spellblades also have a lot of support for using one skill to build up damage and then unleashing it with a huge burst from another. So if you're looking for a generation SL Pender type of play style, then this the mastery for you.

Runemaster - S Tier

The Runemaster gets to be placed in the S tier. We will be able to cast The Elemental skills that create runes that are based around the elemental type of the skill. Using runic invocation, this will expand those runes to choose the spell to cast. The spell it cast can be determined by the Rune combination that was created by the elemental skills, since the Rune combination takes into the account the number of Rune Elemental types and order, it can create a total of 40 distinct spells. Such a large number of spells from a single skill creates almost limitless possibilities.

  • Acolyte

For the next class category, we have the acolyte. The Acolyte has 3 sub classes SL masteries called the Lich, Necromancer and the Warlock which is right now in the development.

Lich - A Tier

Lich gets to be placed right in the S tier. The Lich is the master of dark cards which is able to cast physical spells through blood magic as well as having a firm grasp of the necrotic and poison damage. While her skills are often cast at range, she's also more capable when it comes to the melee combat. Although Necromancer is the main minion mastery leech also is able to deploy and take advantage of them. The most unique thing about this mastery is the ability to sacrifice her own HP in order to increase her power creating an increased race clash reward type of play style. This Mastery bones give her leech and increase damage when missing her health.

Necromancer - S Tier

We will put Necromancer right in the S tier as well. This is your classical minion class, the Necromancer has the ability to build large armies, single but powerful minions or sacrifice them in a variety of destructive ways. She's also capable of buffing hair minions, creating the opportunity of a more active play style even for zoning builds. The Necromancer’s minions have a wide variety of supported damage types allowing for a large amount of variety in the build. She can also use her minion to provide buffs to herself, which will improve her own damage or survivability. The mastery bonuses will provide her with more skeletons or skeletal Mages as well as increased minion damage.

Warlock - A Tier

The last third sub class is the Warlock which is ranked in the A tier. The Warlock class is considered more difficult to play than most classes but has amazing damage potential thanks to its curses and damage-over-time effects. By focusing on passive effects that scale with curses, such as instant mana regeneration or better armor based on the number of curses on the target, players can maximize the efficiency of this build. However, the Warlock may struggle with mana regeneration, which is the only reason why it's not ranked higher

  • Primalist

Moving over to the next class category which is the Primalist, the Primalist has three Mastery SL subclasses available, called the Beastmaster, Shaman and the jid.

Beastmaster - B Tier

The Beastmaster subclass gets to be placed in the B tier. For The Necromancer, minions are expendable tool, but not for the Beastmaster. These are companions whose debt are to be avoided at almost all cost. his companions have their own active skills that can be used by the player whenever they're off cool down. If a companion falls into combat, they can be revived and any primalist can use companions. But the Beastmaster excels at them, gaining access to more support and the ability to have more companions. He also has strong support for deming and physical and poison damage types. The Beast Master's most unique mechanic comes from the aspects which are special buffs that he can apply to himself and his companions through certain actions.

Shaman - S Tier

The next subclass is the shaman which will put in the S tier. This Mastery is your primarily totem user, but he also excels at spellcasting. His damage type support is largely around cold at lightning, but he also has some physical skills. He can use toems for direct damage or provide buffs to spells, melee skills or even companions. These Mastery bonuses reduce totem mana cast, provide attunement and buff the Shaman's Elemental resistance while he's controlling the totem.

Druid - S Tier

The third sub class is the Druid which will be placed right in the S tier. The Druid's most notable feature is the ability to transform into a Werebear form, Werebear and swarm blades are Mastery exclusive, making this class for anyone who wants to experience all the transformation play styles. He also has the ability to switch between multiple forms which will gain him buffs from doing so. Damage type support is physical poison cold and lightning, this mastery bonus give him increased health and mana and damage reduction when leaving a transformed state.

  • Rogue

Last but not the least we have the last fifth class category called the Rogue. The Rogue has 3 Mastery SL subclasses available, called the Bladedancer, Marksman and the Falconer.

Bladedancer - A Tier

So the Bladedancer subclass gets to be placed in the A tier. The Bladedancer fits the ninja/assassin type of play style bit skills like the huricane and small grenades a unique feature of this Mastery comes from the shadow daggers which is an element that guarantees to crate man used. Bladedancer is primarily focused on physical and poison damage, but he also has some support for fire. Defensively, it has more support than the Marksman for both dodge and glancing blow which makes up for it for the large risk this play style tends to come up against.

Marksman - B Tier

The Marksman mastery in Last Epoch is ranked as B-tier in the Last Epoch class tier list 1.0. While it is not considered one of the top-tier masteries, it still offers solid gameplay and damage potential. The Marksman class specializes in ranged arrow attacks, with the Detonating Arrow attack being particularly strong. By combining it with Explosive Traps, players can unlock the Arrow Traps skill upgrade to trigger Detonating Arrow whenever Explosive Trap detonates, resulting in significant damage output. However, the Marksman heavily relies on evasive abilities like Shift to stay alive, making it a more challenging class to manage compared to other ranged classes.

Falconer - S Tier

The last third subclass is the Falconer, which is ranked as an S-tier leveling mastery. This means that it is considered one of the best masteries for fast XP gain and story progression during the leveling process in Last Epoch. The Falconer mastery is praised for its intriguing mechanics and good potential, particularly when fully developed. It is also mentioned that the Marksman mastery is enhanced by the Falconer's explosive trap, indicating that the Falconer mastery synergizes well with the Marksman class.
