D2R 2.5 Damage Calculation Guide - DPS Calculated For Sorc/Paladin/Necro Builds In Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.5

Here we calculate the DPS (damage per second) of the most popular sorceress, paladin and necromancer build depending on the weapon and equipment used in Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.5.


D2R 2.5 Damage Calculation General Rules

Each build equip 7 pieces, corresponding to each game stage:

  • Early Game: Double Spirit, Knowledge Head, +1 Skill Necklace, Secret Armor. That's +6 all skills.

  • MF: Eyeball, Military Cap, Tal Rasha 3-piece set. Basically +9 all skills.

  • Set: Tal Rasha 6-piece set. +8 to all skills.

  • Mid-Game: USC, ULC, CTA, Arachnid Mesh, Mara's Kaleidoscope, skill belts, and socketed are replaced with Rainbow Facet/Ruby Jewel of Fervor, and the Crescent Moon sword is used for lighting sorceress. It is the end of the struggle for ordinary players (without big runes).

  • Mid-game Gear + Break Immunity: Bring the resistance to break immunities based on the previous level.

  • Infinity+Break Immunity: Unlimited equipment, dimension, ice head, unlimited, etc. are all welcome. But there is no skill board. Compared with reality, most of the equipment, in reality, is not so top-quality at this time, but there are a few skill boards, which should be similar in general.

  • End Game God Equipment + Break Immunity: The last level is added with 8 skill boards to reflect the ultimate state.

Regarding Damage:

  • Average damage = (50 anti-monster damage + immunity to monster damage) / 2

In general, the ice build in the early stage is strong in logging, and the hammer damage is high. In the later stage, the damage of the mage explodes, killing the hammer in seconds. Ice build is good at controlling monsters, electricity attack and defense are integrated, and fire build has the highest damage.

Blizzard Skill:

  • Attack speed: 4 seconds to release 25 snowballs, each snowball is panel damage, each snowball can damage the same target. 1.8 seconds to release the next blizzard. According to the estimate of a blizzard hitting four times, that is 4 hits in 1.8 seconds, which is equivalent to 1.8 / 4 * 25 = 11.25 frames of damage.

  • The animation of the blizzard has nothing to do with the damage. The first ball is instant, that is, there is no snow on the screen, and it can already cause damage. Good luck comes out in seconds.

  • The damage to large monsters (bosses) is very high, and it is because of this that snowstorms are used to start season 2.

Other Skills:

  • Ice Blast: The damage is not bad, but unfortunately the range is too small. It is generally used to compensate for the damage when fighting bosses.

  • Glacial Spike: Freeze monsters in groups, with a large range, which belongs to the first magic skill to control.

  • Frozen Orb: Mowing Magic! The range is very large (it can almost be considered as full screen), and the grass is mowed with low pp. Or after the blizzard is released, the ice ball is released to control monsters in a large area. The final explosion of the Frozen Ball can blast out 16 shards of ice, and the implosion boss can cause high damage.

  • Frost Nova: The damage is only half of that of the Electric Ring. 1pp mowing is also possible.

The operation logic of the cold sorc build:

  • Blizzard + Glacial Spike (if no Frozen Orb)

  • Blizzard + Frozen Orb, then adjust the position. This style of play does enough damage and has a large control area, but the disadvantage is that it requires a lot of skill points.

  • If you don't hit bosses, you generally don't need static field, mainly because the damage is enough, and you usually hit icicles to control the field in your spare time.

  • Boss fight: Blizzard + 2~3 Static Field + Blizzard + Ice Blast.

Nova:

  • Skill points are less required, and you can get a full energy shield.

  • An effective defense circle can be established, and all the monsters will be hit with fhr.

  • After being formed, it is the most mindless, integrating attack and defense, and the stacking skills of monsters will be finished. Generally speaking, it can be considered as the fastest occupation in the later stage.

  • Our endgame equipment is equipped with Powered Dimensional Shard of The Magus + Jeweler's Monarch of Deflecting.

Lighting: 

  • The number on the panel is much higher, but the skill points are required to be high, and a single direction requires accurate play. If there is a lack of defense mechanism, you generally need to hit an ice ring first. My straight flash god outfit is the electric rod deflected to the shield.

Chain Lightning: 

  • Low damage, slow to take effect, and a complete defeat with Nova.
