What are Heirlooms in Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Heirlooms are a new type of item added to Wrath of the Lich King, Heirloom items are bound to account, which means they are all tied to one account but not tied to any one character. You can buy Heirloom gear with Stone Keeper's Shards or Emblems of Heroism from different NPCs. 

WotLK Classic Heirloom Vendors - How to Get Heirlooms in Wrath of the Lich King

There are two vendors to buy Heirlooms in Wotlk, you can find them in Wintergrasp and Dalaran.

1. Stone Guard Mukar (Heirloom vendor in Wintergrasp)

The first method to get Heirloom gear is that you can go to Wintergrasp and find a vendor there, which is the Stone Guard Mukar (Wintergrasp Quartermaster). You can buy heirloom clothes, armor, and weapons from the vendor with the currency Stone Keeper's Shard, and equip them to improve your resilience, attack power, spell power, and more. Stone Keeper's Shards will be dropped from any bosses in the Northrend WotLK dungeons, as long as your side (Alliance or Horde) has control of Lake Wintergrasp. Head over to Dalaran, you can buy Heirloom items with Emblems of Heroism from the vendor Enchanter Erodin (Heirloom Vendor), you can find him in the Silver Enclave. Emblems of Heroism is a currency to buy heirlooms and epic items in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and you can earn it from quest rewards from Heroic bosses. You can buy these items to increase your attribute, experience gains, and powers. Choose the items you need based on your character.
