D4 Season 1 Best Way To Level - 1-50-100 Fastest Leveling Guide
As Season 1 of Diablo 4 approaches, the burning question for many is how to level up quickly and reach World Tier 4 in order to dive into the core gameplay, acquire ancestral items, and build effective character setups. In this guide, we'll explore a couple of strategies to achieve this goal. The first strategy focuses on a well-defined route that will smoothly take you to level 50 and beyond, ensuring a steady progression. Additionally, we'll discuss an alternative approach that involves repetitive farming of specific dungeons with less need for strategic thinking, albeit slightly slower, but still highly efficient for leveling up.

Not much nonsense, here we have compiled the following leveling routes from level 1 to level 100 for you based on the D4 Season 1 Leveling Guide created by Raxxanterax:
1. Get The Most Altars & Map Uncovered For Your Season 1 Build (Before Season Start)
Log onto your character(s) that have the most altars and map uncovered to populate them to the seasonal character you're about to create. What you're going to want to do is log into your character with the most Alters of Lilith and map discovery that you have on July 18th or onwards that's going to be on the permanent realm the Eternal realm. That's going to automatically push that progress to your new season character that you're going to make. If this is your first time playing Diablo 4, you will be at a disadvantage because you won't have the map or altars and will need to uncover/unlock them as you go.
2. Pick Up Your Season 1 Leveling Build (0 Level)
Next, you're going to want to pick a class and build not all classes and builds are created equal, so check out our Diablo 4 Season 1 tier list on the best Diablo 4 Season 1 leveling builds for each class.
3. Start Your Season 1 at World Tier 2 (0 Level)
Create a new SEASONAL character on WORLD TIER 1 and SKIP CAMPAIGN. You should only select World Tier 2 if you are playing in a very efficient group.
4. Get Renown Rewards & Pick Up the Raising Spirits Side Quest (0 Level)
Hit Tab and claim the first two tier Renown rewards in all 5 zones. Walk north in Kyovashad (which henceforth we will refer to as Kmart) and grab the Raising Spirits Side Quest. Walk Northeast and use the emote wheel to "Cheer", and turn it in for an Herb Cache.
5. Do Outdoor Events for Upgrade Potions (1-15 Level)
Go northwest of Kmart and do outdoor events to gather flowers for potion upgrades, following this map route:
1-9 Map Route
9-15 Map Route (If not playing TB Rogue, TP at 10 and go to the yellow 11)
6. Unlock Legendary Aspects for Your Build (1-15 Level)
On the way to 15, acquire any codex powers you need from dungeons (unless they are a very high-level requirement). Your leveling guide will tell you what you need. Legendary aspects are super strong to get, so you want to get your legendary aspects as soon as you possibly can. Using the build guide of your choice in an interactive map, figure out exactly which dungeon you need to do in order to get your aspect. But before you go in there make sure to pick up the corresponding quest for that dungeon, that way you're getting two things done at the same time - you're getting a quest that will reward Renown you're getting experience and you're getting gold, you're probably going to get cash and you're also going to get your aspect unlocked in that codex of power. So this is really like getting three birds stoned for the price of one. And this is where time stamps are going to come in handy, we are going to go through dungeon by dungeon showing you the location of where you can pick up the quest and the dungeon is going to be the name of the time stamp.
Here are the dungeons and the best route you want to run for legendary aspects:
Domhain Tunnels
Underroot
Sarat's Lair
Wretched Delve
Light's Watch
Hoarfrost Demise, Rimescar Cavern
Black Asylum
Sanguine Chapel
Cultists Refuge
Hallowed Ossuary
Champion's Demise
Grinning Labyrinth
Whispering Vault
Maugan's Works
Shadowed Plunge
7. Do Class Quests To Unlock Specific Unique Mechanic (15 Level)
At 15 do your class quest that automatically populates in your quest log:
Barb Technique Slot
Druid Spirit Boons
Sorcerer Enchantment Slots
Rogue Specialization
Necro Book of the Dead (at 25 not 15)
8. Clear Nostrava and Malnok Strongholds (15-17 Level)
Clear Nostrava and Malnok Strongholds in Fractured Peaks and complete them. Malnok has dangerous freezes and a tough boss, so beware of Hardcore. Hit Tab and claim your Renown rewards for Level 3 Fractured Peaks.
9. Clear Onyx Watchtower Stronghold (17-27 Level)
Clear Onyx Watchtower stronghold but don't kill the boss or ring the bell. Make sure to click the caged beasts in the middle and leave the game after clearing to reset it. On your final Onyx Watchtower run, don't complete it, as we will come back here later.
10. Clear Kor Dragan stronghold (27-32 Level)
Clear Kor Dragan stronghold but don't kill the boss or ring the bell. On your final Kor Dragan run, complete it fully for some extra XP, as we won't come back.
12. Clear Temple of Rot Stronghold (32-45 Level)
Clear Temple of Rot Stronghold but do not kill the boss or ring the bell. Make sure to open the chest Northeast of the 3 elites before leaving. On your final Temple of Rot run, complete it fully for some extra XP, as we won't come back.
13. Clear Onyx Watchtower Stronghold Again (45-47 Level)
Clear Onyx Watchtower stronghold again but do not kill the boss or ring the bell. On your final Onyx Watchtower run, complete it fully for some extra XP, as we won't come back.
14. Uprade Main Weapons (45-47 Level)
Before going to the capstone, UPGRADE YOUR MAIN WEAPONS at the blacksmith as high as you can for extra DPS. If playing on Hardcore, make sure you craft an Elixir of Death evasion, place your Scroll of Escape on your emote wheel, and bind it to a key in your settings.
15. Unlock Word Tier 3 (47 Level or Any Level You Can)
At 47 level or whatever level you feel comfortable at, swap to World Tier 2 and clear the Capstone Dungeon, and go to World Tier 3 at the statue in the center of Kmart.
16. Setup Your Endgame Build(47 Level)
Before entering the World Tier 3, make sure to set up the endgame build for your character.
17. Chain Clear Nightmare Dungeons (48-67 Level)
Turn in a round of Grim Favors to the Tree of Whispers to get a Nightmare Dungeon Sigil. Complete the Nightmare Dungeon Quests in Kmart at the Occultist. Now is a great time to get your Renown to level 3 in all zones, since the NM dungeon keys will port you all over the world and you can grab the waypoints. Follow the Season 1 NM Dungeon Tier List Tab in this sheet to see what the best dungeons to run are, and which ones you should salvage. Salvage any NM Dungeon keys with affixes you hate (examples: Resource Burn, Cold Enchanted, Crit Resist, Backstab, Pikachu (Lightning Storm), Suppressor). Pay attention to the Seasonal theme, and look for important CAGED HEARTS for your build. You don't have to kill every monster (unless that's the specific objective of the dungeon). Focus on Elites, high-density trash packs, and the objectives.
18. Run Some Helltide Events & Kill World Bosses (48-67 Level)
Make sure that you RUN A FEW HELLTIDES and follow the mysterious chest strategy to get Forgotten Souls. Also, go kill the World Bosses when they spawn. Use the same map link above for the timer and location.
19. Unlock World Tier 4 & Upgrade Gear (47 Level or Any Level You Can)
At 67 level or whatever level you feel comfortable, clear the second Capstone Dungeon and go to World Tier 4 at the statue in Kmart. Upgrade your weapons, armor, and jewelry as much as possible before attempting this. Don't forget your ELIXIR OF DEATH EVASION if you're playing Hardcore.
20. Clear Nightmare Dungeons (68-100 Level)
At the endgame, chain clear nightmare dungeons using the same hints listed above. During these endgame running, you also need to do the following things:
Craft the highest level gems at level 70 at the Jeweler
Run Helltide for Forgotten Souls
Reroll and upgrade your ancestral World Tier 4 gear
Kill World Bosses for loot and Shattering Prisms
Hunt Malignant monsters/tunnels for Caged Hearts
The final 2 tier of Renown for extra paragon points (not critical, but a nice way to power up your character if you're not racing to 100)
