Lost Ark Akkan Legion Raid Honing Guide (V2): Entry Requirements, Upper Ancient Gear, Akkan Rewards
Akkan is the 5th Legion Commander Raid and will arrive after Elgacia. It consists of 3 gates and brings a new of gear that will function as a soft reset, it is meant to be an easier raid, serving as a break in difficulty between Brelshaza and Thaemine in Lost Ark.
Entry Requirements
Epidmic-1500
Normal-1580
Hard-1600
Epidemic, Normal and Hard will release at the same time, and share the same weekly lockout. Epidemic functions the same way as Reheasrsal and Deja Vu, the rewards for Normal and Hard are the same, with the only difference being in quantity, for this reason, it is not recommended to hone to 1600 before the raid’s release due to extremely inefficient honing costs, Tickets can be earned from any difficulty once per week, these are used for a shop with typical rewrds.
1580+ Honing Materials & Content
Similar to what happened with Brelshaza’s release, there will be a new tier of honing materials used to upgrade the gear you obtain from Akkan, these materials can be acquired from all 1580+ content or through exchange in a shop, after exchange, materials become bound, honor shards will continue to be used.
This update also brings two new levels of chaos dungeon and a new Guardian Raid. Completing Elgacia’s main story is required to access 1580+ chaos dungeon levels.
Upper Ancient Gear
This raid introduces a new gear set with the base ilvl of 1525 and a new cap of 1650 (+25), transferring your current gear to the new items will increase your item levelhoning odds, here are the crafting costs and transfer rates:
Honing Advice
Honing to Akkan normal (1580) and Akkan Hard (1600) with Brelshaza gear.
The cost of pushing a character from Normal (1580) to Hard (1600) without gear transfers is absurd, for roughly the same materials, you can hone two additional characters to Normal (1580) instead. It’s recommended to stop at Normal (1580) and wait for gear transfers before going up to Hard (1600), due to honing and transfer gains being much lower than what we have on Brelsahza Gear, this process will take between 5-9 weeks, depending on how high you want to hone the new gear, although honing is still required to reach Hard (1600), the cost is significantly reduced by using transfers and new materials.
