D4 1.1.1 Best Speedfarming Class & Build Tier List

A couple of classes just absolutely dominate the mid to late-game speed farming and then when you get to tier 100.  With that said we're going to rate the speed farming. What we consider speed farming is like 1 to 70 Nightmare Dungeons, and just going through and trying to min max your gear trying to level up level 70+ to get to 100. We're actually going to rate these on a 1 to 5 scale because some classes are both really good and they can have S tier.

1. Rouge: Twisting Blade (S Tier)

Rogue is still dominating speed farming, this class hasn't really changed at all with patch 1.1.1. One thing that's really nice about speed farming on the Rogue actually is AOE - that a lot of builds with the Rogue really benefit from the Barber. With the addition of the Barber Shadow damage giving you Infinite Energy, you could speed farm even faster than you were able to before with so much more AOE.

2. Druid: Lightning Shred (S Tier)

The Druid is actually speed farming almost as fast as the Rogue in some situations if you have the proper build. Although it takes a little bit while a lot more difficult to get that build going, you could go even faster than the Rogue compared to some of the Rogue's builds. Although the Rogue we think with the Twisting Blade still comes out a little bit on top. The Druid though is very fast, Pulverize is like one-shotting with the Barber Heart, and the Lightning Storm just AOE damages out the Wazon. There's actually a lot of movement in the Druid and that's really important when you're considering speed farming since that's a really big bonus to help you out speed clearing.

3. Sorcerer: Ice Shards (A Tier)

Sorcerer has a couple of builds that can surpass the Necromancer, however again the key with the sorcerer is that it doesn't do as much damage as the Necro. So that's super important to note: if the sorcerer was comparable DPS to the Necro later, the class actually clears quicker. But when we're considering speed farming as we're getting gear and trying to min-max for leveling up, the necro is able to do that faster due to their higher DPS, however, the sorcerer is honestly very comparable.

4. Necromancer: Bone Spear (A Tier)

The Necros get nerfs to Bone Spear but actually didn't hit them nearly as hard as you would have expected. The Nerfs to the Nightmare dungeon put Bone Spear in a place where it's basically just as good as it was before and you're still one-shotting everything. Bone Spears Necros are really fast, you just crush through everything super quickly. Necromancers could speed farm higher tiers faster versus the sorcerer and that's why the necros are on top. Bone Spear though is the main version of this that's actually doing good work, sever necro, blight necro. Even the infinities aren't just not as fast but can give you a lot of survivability with the necro, so if you want to push even higher and perhaps go a little bit slower you can do that so you have a little bit of options on the necro.

5. Barbarian: Whirlwind (B Tier)

Barbarians are significantly slower, even Whirlwind and HoTa end up being quite a bit slower than the Necro and Sorcerer. Barbarian still can clear very fast and actually, if you're considering the like mid-game Barbarian would jump up ahead of Sorcerer and Necromancer because the build can be online much quicker. The problem with the Barbarian right now though is their damage is not as high as the sorcerer and necro, while also you don't have the mobility that the sorcerer does.

D4 1.1.1 Best Endgame Class & Build Ranking

Pushing is that we are trying to push the higher tier Nightmare dungeons to your 80s, 90s, and ultimately the tier 100 nightmare dungeon completions. We are not considering Uber Lilith running, as it is a completely different form of content than the Nightmare tier 100. And often times you could just go straight DPS burst alpha Lilith but that doesn't necessarily work in Nightmare tier 100s - you could easily do Uber Lilith if you build the correct build for her, but it's not really worth farming. If you decide to do so even tier 100s are not worth farming, it's literally just there for completion's sake unless you are very min max and then you can potentially farm it. That is also going to be a factor in how fast can you do tier 100s, whether can you do them easily, etc.

1. Druid: Lighting Shred (S Tier)

Druid still remains number one for endgame pushing and that is mainly due to just how much Synergy and actually how much survivability their builds actually have. So much damage duration within their skills really helps them out and just being able to crush it easily, adds that to the amount of damage that you can pump out with Werewolf Nado. Actually, a breakout build such as the Pulverized Druid got a lot better with this season and they're just really solid, so absolutely crushing tier 100s very amazingly.

2. Rogue: Flurry Rapid Fire (S Tier)

We have the Rogue at number two for the Endgame Tier List. If the Rogue didn't have more potential in terms of the amount of Versatility it has, tackling tier 100s, you have a lot of options that allow you to do multiple different tier 100s much easier than the number three spot, although the number three spot is pretty close. Twisting Blades and Rapid Fire versions are solid, the AOE potential with the Barber is helping out there. Rogue is probably the most versatile class and the most powerful overall class in the game in terms of how many options you have. But in terms of specifics you know like "Can you specifically do this well?", Druid comes out a little bit on top.

3. Necromancer: Bons Spear (A Tier)

Necro has a little bit more DPS than the Rogue in fact a lot of scenarios, but it's only one build-bone spear. Bone Spear is still top of the charts and very good for pushing still, absolutely wrecks everything. This build also applies to speed farming although a little bit less so the auto consumption of corpses is so good for the late-game tier 100s. Necromancers are absolutely amazing compared to the last season despite them getting massively nerfed in their best build. Other Necro builds such as Summoner still need a little bit of help comparatively, and Bone Spear is still far better than Rogue and Druid.

4. Barbarian: Whirlwind (B Tier)

We put Barbarian ahead of Sorcerer, as Barbarian does have the Whirlwind and HotA builds. Those two we think are the strongest for tier 100 pushing and unfortunately, the sorcerer actually does less damage when you start to scale up to this point. Barbarian actually does oftentimes more DPS than the sorcerer while being a little bit slower, but you also have a lot more options for damage reduction and survivability and that's key.

5.  Sorcerer: Blizzard (C Tier)

Unfortunately, Sorcerer is still at the bottom and they got a hard Nerf with Season 1 but still not good for endgame pushing. Sorcerer has had a couple of bugs going on where they can just annihilate tier 100. But outside of the bugs, Sorcerers just needs some massive help and we are hoping that chain lightning or maybe some Fireball options are going to pop up here. Sorcerer has a really hard time living through these dungeons as does a couple of other classes like the Rogue still struggle a little bit - survivability is always going to be a problem with those classes. While with this 1.1.1 patch,  we actually don't find that the Buffs do anything to really make Fireball or Chain Lightning like a breakout build. But even if they were to like be comparable to Ice Shards or Blizzard builds for sorcerers which tend to be the best builds, they're still not even close to like Rogue or Bone Spear, or Druid.

There is not a class that is like failing and can't do anything, the sorcerer is just average mediocre, and the standout ones are Druid and Rogue at the current moment.
